The e-olas system can take information from many disparate

in a Progress database while production information may be

capabilities to any remote user via the internet using Web
Client technology from Progress Software.
Create predefined KPI libraries
KPI's are an increasingly important feature in management
reporting, allowing key indicators to be closely monitored
to give feedback to managers in making important business
decisions. e-olas allows KPI's to be defined and stored giving
powerful drill-down, query, graphing and dynamic reporting
facilities to anyone throughout an organisation.
Create Management Report Packs
In much the same way as e-olas can provide KPI's it can be
used to build up a 'pack' or library of management reports
that can be produced by the system automatically at predetermined
intervals. The e-olas Batch Monitor allows reports to be scheduled
and printed whenever and wherever required. Target and budget
reports as well as reports from multiple sources can be produced
to make up weekly or monthly management report packs.
User/Group Security
Within each module of e-olas, analysis sets and queries can
be authorised at group and user levels, thus blocking the
viewing of sensitive data by unauthorised users. Web-based
report access is also governed by a secure login which allows
viewing/printing of reports only by the authorised user.
Standard and Dynamic Reporting
Within the Analyser module the drill-down facility is accompanied
by a powerful feature that allows dynamic reporting of any
data selection. By highlighting a group of records a user
can select the fields to print, the fields to total and the
output destination all with a simple point and click interface.
Integration with Standard Desktop Products
e-olas allows output to many of the standard desktop and office
products currently available in Windows. From spreadsheet
to word processor e-olas offers a flexible solution.
Enterprise Report Scheduling and Distribution
As well as dynamic reporting e-olas offers a powerful report
scheduling and distribution system. The e-olas Batch Monitor
allows reports to be scheduled to run at any time to any printer
by any authorised user. Thus, the task of running sets of
management reports can be easily automated. Personalised report
packs may also be defined and scheduled for 'anywhere, anytime'
reporting.
Web Report Scheduling and Distribution
Utilising the same powerful facilities used to distribute
reports across an enterprise, web based reports can also be
scheduled and distributed to a specified web site in a secure
manner. Authorised users may only gain access to reports via
a user id and password protected login.
